Two levels of proof

Verified means verified.

Anyone can photograph a watch. Reelle asks for the paperwork, checks the serial against every other asset on the registry, and — for Level 2 — writes to the store that sold it.

On-chain provenance

The record outlives the app.

When an asset is verified it is minted as an ERC-721 to its owner's wallet on the MODEM chain — with the title, brand, serial, value and verification level written on-chain, not just a link to a server.
