Cookie Policy
This website sets no cookies. We use no analytics, no advertising pixels and no tracking of any kind on reelle.io. There is nothing here for you to consent to or opt out of, which is why you are not being shown a cookie banner.
Cookie law covers cookies and any similar technology that stores or reads information on your device — local storage, session storage and mobile app preferences included. This policy sets out everything Reelle stores, across the marketing site, the admin console and the mobile app.
1. The marketing website (reelle.io)
This site is static HTML, CSS and one JavaScript file. It sets no cookies, writes nothing to local storage, and does not profile you. We do not know who you are or how many times you have visited.
2. The admin console (admin.reelle.io)
The admin console is restricted to authorised staff. When an administrator signs in, Google Firebase Authentication stores a session token in the browser's local storage so the session persists between page loads.

Both are strictly necessary — the console cannot function without them — so they do not require consent.
3. The mobile app
The app is not a browser and sets no cookies. It stores locally on your device:
- your authentication session, so you stay signed in;
- a flag recording that you have seen the onboarding screens;
- a randomly generated installation identifier, used to record your acceptance of our policies (see the Privacy Policy);
- your push notification token;
- cached images, so the app does not re-download them.
Clearing the app's storage or uninstalling it removes all of this.
4. Third-party requests
Even without cookies, loading a page discloses your IP address to whoever serves the content. On Reelle that means:
- Google Fonts — this website loads two typefaces from Google's servers, which discloses your IP address and user agent to Google. No cookie is set. We can remove this by self-hosting the fonts.
- OpenFreeMap — in the app, map tiles are requested directly by your device, disclosing your IP address and the area of the map you are viewing.
- Google Firebase — hosts our database, file storage and authentication.
5. How to control it
Every browser lets you block or delete cookies and clear local storage, usually under Settings → Privacy. Because this site sets none, blocking them changes nothing here. Blocking storage on the admin console will prevent signing in.
On mobile, you can clear the app's data from your device settings, revoke the location and notification permissions at any time, or uninstall the app.
6. Changes
If we ever add analytics or any non-essential storage, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before setting anything. Questions: privacy@reelle.io.
